An AI feature enhances an existing product or workflow. Examples:

An AI-enabled system is different. AI becomes central to how the work gets done. Examples:
👉 If you remove the AI, the system no longer works the same way.
The difference matters:
And they require very different thinking. A simple test: If you removed the AI, would this still function the same way?
If yes — it’s an enhancement.
If no — it’s a transformation.
That distinction often determines whether you're improving something that already exists… Or changing how the business actually operates.
